DEPARTMENT: Fleet
HOURS: 8 AM- 5 PM
REPORTS TO: Director of Fleet Services
COMPENSATION: $21-25/hour (Pay is flexible and dependent on experience)
JOB SUMMARY: Livingston Development Ventures is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts & Inventory Coordinator to support both our internal operations and Service Department. This role is responsible for fulfilling parts orders, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and delivering exceptional customer service to both internal teams and clients.
This position is ideal for someone with a mechanical background, who wants to transition into a structured operations role while staying connected to the industry.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong computer skills, and can confidently interact with vendors and customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with placing daily parts orders
- Place weekly stock orders to maintain proper inventory levels
- Order parts in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts orders
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accurate accounting
- Maintain and adjust parts inventory reorder levels as needed
- Track inventory movement and ensure proper documentation
- Enter parts received and complete orders into the computer system
- Data entry for all parts invoices
- Input all receipts
- Actively manage and return unneeded parts within manufacturer guidelines
- Pick up parts as required (secondary runner duties)
- Maintain parts room housekeeping and organization to the highest standards
- Provide professional customer service to internal departments and clients
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in parts and/or service field required
- Mechanical background strongly preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Experience dealing with vendors and suppliers

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to remain active throughout the workday
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a wide variety of worksite and climate conditions, including constant exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, and smoke
- The noise level in the work environment varies from quiet to loud
