Job Title: Miscellaneous Metal Installer
Pay Range: $23–$32 per hour (with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on experience and skill level)
Location: Southern Tier, NY (Primary) – Travel to Rochester, NY if needed.
Travel Radius: Up to 1.5 hours (Binghamton, Hornell, Dansville, Arkport, Corning, Wayland, Elmira, Ithaca, Keuka Lake, Olean, Beaumont, and surrounding southeast/southwest regions)

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Metal Installer with 3–5 years of field experience to join our growing team. This position involves installing a variety of metal and steel components on commercial and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with metal stairs, railings, structural components, and metal decking, and is comfortable working within a small, tight-knit crew.
This role primarily services the Southern Tier region. When workload is required, assignments may be extended to the Rochester area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install miscellaneous metals including:
- Metal stairs
- Metal railings
- Guardrails
- Metal decking
- Assist in the installation of steel components and structural framework
- Install small structural items such as beams and columns
- Perform core drilling operations
- Operate grinding equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform welding (preferred)
- Read and interpret shop drawings and installation plans
- Work collaboratively with a small team (1–3 crew members)
- Support and coordinate with the Foreman to ensure efficient project completion
- Maintain OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in miscellaneous metals installation or related field
- OSHA 10 certificate is required
- Experience installing stairs, railings, and structural steel components
- Experience with metal decking installation
- Core drilling experience
- Grinding experience
- Welding experience preferred
- Ability to travel within a 1.5-hour radius of the Southern Tier region
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights as required
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a team-oriented environment
Work Environment:
- Commercial and industrial construction job sites
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Physical labor includes lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods

This is a full time position
