Position: Manufacturing Production Associate at NextGen
Compensation: $19-20/hour (Pay is dependent on experience)

Business Hours: 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM (Full time/ Overtime as needed)
SUMMARY: Self Motivated. You construct all major Building Components: Wall Panels, Roof Trusses, and Floor Trusses. You create finished building components that are ready to be delivered to a construction site for assembly. You work as part of a team to assemble each building component using hand tools and power tools. All team members are responsible for quality control by verifying the dimensions of material at a given position and examining material for defects. Truss (Roof and Floor) and Wall Panel building teams are expected to learn/perform set-up for the assembly of Panels and Trusses, as well as become proficient at operating any necessary equipment safely and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Picking lumber, staging lumber, cutting lumber, assembly/building components with hand-tools, power tools and automated equipment. (Break apart into parts) Inventory and Quality Assurance.
- Evaluate and select appropriate lumber based on project requirements, quality standards, and specifications.
- Reading/Interpreting production paperwork & computer screen illustrations of design requirements.
- Banding finished trusses (roof & floor) and wall panels.
- Work as part of a team, within their department and between departments.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to manufacturing schedule to ensure production is completed according to customer deadlines.
- Follow Safety Guidelines for all equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
- Reliability, punctuality, and safety-mindedness with a strong work ethic.
- Positive, helpful demeanor and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Basic understanding of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Adapt easily to shifts in direction and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
- Physically demanding job requiring the ability to stand for the duration of the assigned shift.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
- Production or Construction experience a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Work may occur both indoors and outdoors, depending on the projects and tasks.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow or wind may occur during outdoor work.
- May encounter loud noise from machinery, power tools, and equipment used in production activities.
