Hospice Business Development - Sales 
(Community Education Representative)




What You Must Have:
  • One to three years of progressive sales experience in hospice sales, home health, or other healthcare sales strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of business management and a strong knowledge of the Medicare Hospice Benefit
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid / current auto liability insurance

What You’ll Do:

  • Be a trusted guide for hospice-eligible patients and their loved ones as they explore care options and begin the hospice admission process.
  • Own your territory by developing and executing a strategic business plan, managing time and resources effectively to meet referral and admission goals.
  • Grow our mission by calling on physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and discharge planners to build strong, lasting referral relationships.
  • Drive community awareness through thoughtful public relations outreach, educational events, and strategic marketing efforts that highlight the heart of our hospice care.
  • Master the art of sales by applying best practices in territory and account management, prioritization, call cadence, and relationship development.
  • Leverage technology including CRM tools to track and manage your accounts and analyze referral trends.
  • Support compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Medicare requirements and internal policies.
