What You’ll Do
As a Weld Cleanup / Grinder, you’ll be responsible for preparing welded and fabricated metal parts for finishing and downstream processes. Your work ensures our products meet quality standards and are ready for plating, painting, or assembly.
- Grind, sand, deburr, and smooth welded joints and metal surfaces
- Remove weld spatter and surface imperfections
- Prepare weldments and machined parts for plating or paint
- Operate hand and pneumatic tools, including grinders and sanders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
- Support fabrication and shop operations as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in weld cleanup, grinding, metal finishing, or fabrication support
- Comfortable using hand grinders, sanders, and similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn
- Stable, full-time role with consistent work
