Composting Fellowship (Rockville, MD)
We are hiring a Compost Fellow for 2025 to perform supervised research and assist in composting operations for our on-farm Compost Outpost located at One Acre Farm in Dickerson, MD. The Fellow will have exposure to a variety of compost industry seminars, learning opportunities, academic materials, commercial compost facility tours, and networking opportunities by experts in the field to receive a well-rounded experience. This is a six month position with flexible hours to best fit your schedule. The position requires availability for four on-site hours of work each week in Dickerson, MD. Target start date is Feb.3, 2025.

Sales Representative - Commercial (Rockville, MD)
Do you want to use your strategic sales skills to have a major measurable impact on environmental health and well-being? As Commercial Outside Sales Representative, you'll sell our market-leader composting services to commercial locations such as restaurants, hotels, schools, multi-family dwellings, and other local businesses in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia (DMV). This is a hybrid position, with 80% time in the company office/customer meetings and 20% time in your home office. Position annualized salary range $50K - $75K. Generous variable compensation opportunity of up to 40-60% of base salary.
Sales Representative - Municipal (Rockville, MD)
Do you want to use your strategic sales skills to have a major measurable impact on environmental health and well-being? As Municipal Sales Representative, you'll sell our market-leader composting services to government entities and local communities in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia (DMV). This is a hybrid position, with 50% time in the company office/customer meetings and 50% time in your home office. Position annualized salary range $50K - $75K. Generous variable compensation opportunity of up to 50-70% of base salary.
