Collections Helper (Upper Marlboro)
Compost Crew is searching for capable and reliable Collections Helpers who can support our Drivers to provide a high level of service on a consistent basis to our ever-growing customer base. The position includes regular hours and a consistent weekly schedule. You will help Compost Crew to make a positive impact on our community by saving our environment by recycling food scraps.
Composting Fellowship (Rockville, MD)
We are hiring a Compost Fellow for Fall 2024 to perform supervised research and assist in composting operations for our on-farm Compost Outpost located at One Acre Farm in Dickerson, MD. The Fellow will have exposure to a variety of compost industry seminars, learning opportunities, academic materials, commercial compost facility tours, and networking opportunities by experts in the field to receive a well-rounded experience. This is a six month position with flexible hours to best fit your schedule. The position requires availability for four on-site hours of work each week in Dickerson, MD. Target start date is August 1, 2024.
